Vivid Reverie

Color becomes a language of its own. Color inspires me to communicate beyond words, evoking the unique energy of each subject. By fragmenting and reassembling images, the aim is to create a dynamic portrait that captures the complexity and evolution of a person over time. The project began with a collection of lumen prints, light photography, and abstract imagery of colorful objects. While combining these single images with portraits, they morphed into more surreal visualizations of the subject by utilizing digital collage. In the same vein, the multimedia video is physically manipulated frame by frame using paint, markers, and etching. These bright, vivid tones mirror the fluidity and depth of identity, suggesting that the self is not a fixed or uniform entity but a spectrum of experiences, moods, and histories. These colors are charged and purposeful, integral to the subject’s narrative by showcasing their true self.
